Today we have one of the hottest days in history....
...in the morning, the weather is fine and temperatures are rising:
Before noon: At the lake - to escape the heat:
...but the sun is baking the earth:
In the afternoon: The King of the Heat...
Late afternoon: 37 to 38 degrees Celsius or 100 degrees Fahrenheit...
It`s one of the hottest days I can remember. In the August of 2003,
we had on the 9th 37 degrees and on the 13th 39 degrees Celsius.
It was like in the desert...
The evening: very warm with some little wonders...
Postscript (Sep, 5th): Our town was one of the hotspots of Germany in this summer -
on this afternoon of the 19. the temperature within the citylimits was rising
to an unbelievable 38.9°C or 102 degrees Fahrenheit!
